@Pallav,,there are times when u just want to vent out ur thoughts,may be negative thoughts and may not sensible all the the times bec it like u scriblling spoantaneously,whatever is runnig in ur mind,these few lines are piece of that...

I don't understand "Why the confusion?". The only interpretation I can think of is :
The guy had been indifferent in the relationship and wanted to distance himself from the girl. He probably didn't have the courage to say it on her face; so he ws resorting to being rude and forgetful. Girl picks up the hints of course and says goodbye. These were her lines.
